The Baronessa is a Chanteuse in the French cabaret tradition. She performs a musical revue of the best French love songs, a few old jazz classics and her trademark banter about adventures, mishaps and magical journeys. The Baronessa's repertoire covers Edith Piaf, Jacques Brel, Serge Gainsbourg, Cabaret and Jazz.

The Baronessa is accompanied by pianist Lilly Farling on the trusty ivories and accordionist Mademoiselle Monika adds the authentic sound of the Bal Musette. Four piece jazz band, Linear B, perform the jazz standards as well as their own free jazz compositions. Mathieu and Francois', a puppet act present small vignettes about helpless romantic Francois and his never-ending quest for love as he attempts to woo the Baronessa, set to the score of Eric Satie.

The Baronessa's favourite themes are:
'Nuits de Folies' a Moulin Rouge extravaganza as presented at the Pigalle Club, featuring the classic follies repertoire and showgirls.
'Tango Pasione' is all latin fire and the finest live accordion tango tunes ranging from Piazzolla to Gardel. Performed at Sketch.
'A Moment at the Carnival' an installation musical performance with dancing marionettes, traces the search for a lost carnival.

Bespoke themes can be created on request. All presented in dazzling cabaret-style and fabulous costume. See the Gallery page for photos.
